I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and attended St. Louis University for college and law school. During law school I served as the Executive Managing Editor of the St. Louis-Warsaw Transatlantic Law Journal, the Executive Editor of the Fidelity-Surety News and did an internship with the Honorable William Stiehl of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.

After I graduated from law school in 1998, I worked for several years at one of the largest insurance defense firms in St. Louis. I soon realized that I preferred to help those that have been injured by others and not the big business and insurance companies. Therefore I took a job at one of the nation's premier consumer protection firms in Northern Illinois.

In 2001, I decided to return to St. Louis with my wife and took a job with one of St. Louis' finest personal injury attorneys for several years. Eventually, I decided that I wanted to get back to helping consumers, who were not being served enough in Missouri. Therefore I formed the Cohn Law Firm, LLC to represent consumers and other individuals who needed legal representation.
